Jay Anliker

Division President, Health Plan Services–Fiserv Health

Jay Anliker is division president of Health Plan Services for Fiserv Health, a business unit of Fiserv Inc. He brings more than 20 years of experience in accounting, finance and management to his role. Anliker previously held the positions of president and chief executive officer for Wausau Benefits, executive vice president and chief operating officer as well as chief financial officer and treasurer. He has been with Wausau Benefits since its spin-off from former parent company Wausau Insurance/Liberty Mutual in October 2000.

Anliker joined Wausau Insurance Companies in 1993 as manager—property and casualty statutory reporting in financial services. Later that same year, he was named director—corporate accounting. In 1995, he was elected vice president and controller—financial services, and in 1996 he was named vice president—financial services, serving on the President’s Cabinet. In 1999, he was named senior vice president for custom accounts underwriting where he was responsible for the profitable growth of Wausau Insurance Companies’ affinity group business unit. Prior to that he had been with the public accounting firm of KPMG Peat Marwick.

A native of West Bend, Iowa, Anliker graduated in 1984 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls. He earned the designation of Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in 1984 and is a member of the Iowa Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Anliker is presently serving as president of the board of directors for the United Way of Marathon County. In addition, he served as the Campaign Chair in 2004. He is also an active member of the board of directors for River Valley State Bank, the Performing Arts Foundation and the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum. He is a member of the Accounting Advisory Council of the University of Northern Iowa.
